Now at its 11th global edition, Postal Innovation opens its doors in the capital of the United Arab Emirates for the fifth time under the patronage of H.H. Sheik Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The event will be held at The Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research and is endorsed by the European Commission and the Emirates Identity Authority.

Shared strategies at Postal Innovation
Rio de Janeiro 2013

Leading postal players from Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, El Salvador, Costa Rica and other operators shared strategies and vision with ICT leaders in high-level debate at 10th global Postal Innovation event. For the third time in Latin America, Postal Innovation opened its doors in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on September 26 & 27, 2013. The event was held under the patronage of the Cabinet of Ministers of Argentina and endorsed by the European Commission.

A very successful start of our 2013 journey

On February 11-12, Postal Innovation gathered a world-class panel of speakers and delegates around the table of innovation on the occasion of our fourth annual appointment held in the Middle East. The event opened its doors in Abu Dhabi at its prestigious government venue, the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research under the patronage of UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, H.H. Sheik Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan. It was furthermore endorsed by the European Commission and the Emirates Identity Authority.

Postal Innovation went live in Abu Dhabi, Feb. 11-12 Postal Innovation gathered a world-class panel of speakers and delegates around the table of innovation on the occasion of the fourth dedicated appointment held in the Middle East. The initiative opened its doors in the capital of the United Arab Emirates under the patronage of UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, H.H. Sheik Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan. It was furthermore endorsed by the European Commission and the Emirates Identity Authority.

Postal Innovation, Frankfurt, October 16-18

Following its first appointments of 2012 in Abu Dhabi in April and in Rio de Janeiro in June, the special initiative on Postal Innovation went live for the first time in Frankfurt on October 16-18, 2012. Postal Innovation took place on the occasion of the 11th ID WORLD International Congress, the last appointment of the year in the 2012 calendar of ID WORLD events, held under the patronage of the German Ministry of the Interior.


Postal operators from the entire region join the debate during Postal Innovation at Rio de Janeiro summit

Postal Innovation opened its doors in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on June 4-5, 2012. The event was held under the patronage of the Cabinet of Ministers of Argentina and endorsed by the European Commission.

Postal operator transformation was the over-arching theme of the event with key presentations highlighting how each organization faces particular challenges given the competitive environment, regulation framework, geography and technology penetration of the postal sector. New visions and strategies were presented based on value-added innovation in order to create differentiation in an increasingly commoditized market.

Leading suppliers to the retail and postal sectors drive the vision this year for Postal Innovation at Abu Dhabi summit

Vibrant debate over two days involving postal operators, eGovernment representatives and ICT leaders in postal and express shipping, consolidated the success of the sixth global Postal Innovation event, which opened its doors in the capital of the United Arab Emirates under the patronage of H.H. Sheik Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on March 18-19, 2012. The event was endorsed by the European Commission and the Emirates Identity Authority.

After last year’s high profile sessions on collaborative initiatives between governments and postal operators, key presentations this year highlighted how new avenues of growth for the postal business lay in defining a common vision for smart delivery embracing retailers and shipping operators. This vision for innovations in delivery logistics and retailing called for a cooperative ‘go to market effort’ from those two industries.

Postal Innovation Milan, November 2 - 4

A distinguished line-up of speakers took to the stage at Postal Innovation in Milan, on November 2 to 4, 2011. Following the outstanding success of the initiative’s regional events held in Abu Dhabi in April and Rio de Janeiro in June, Postal Innovation went live in Milan over three days, on the occasion of the celebratory 10th ID WORLD International Congress. Postal and express shipping operators from around the world gathered with ICT experts in mobility, security and traceability for a packed program of debate and networking. The event was held under the patronage of the Presidency of Italian Ministers and was endorsed by the European Commission.

Postal Innovation Rio de Janeiro, June 21 - 22

Postal Innovation was debated once again in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil at the Othon Palace Hotel on June 21, 2011. Wise Media’s initiative on progressive thinking about ICT-driven innovation in the postal and express shipping arenas went live during a two-day event, held under the patronage of the Chief of the Cabinet of Ministers, Argentina and endorsed by the European Commission, with top-level knowledge-sharing by speakers from five continents. The event was held on the occasion of ID WORLD’s inaugural Americas summit on security, mobility and traceability and welcomed an outstanding line up of end-users, ICT industry leaders and senior government dignitaries from throughout Latin America and further afield.

Postal Innovation Abu Dhabi 2010

Loud acclaim in the Emirates on May 3 and 4 as Wise Media launched the Postal Innovation initiative to resounding success with a two-day conference, attended by major postal operators and innovators from around the region attending the first high tech think-tank on the smart postal business.

Postal Innovation brought to life the first international observatory on innovative technologies and methods in the postal market in Abu Dhabi. The Chairman and President of Saudi Post, the CEO of Emirates Post and the CEO of Liban Post were among the representatives of the local posts attending the launch event and contributing to the conference. Other high caliber participants included representatives from La Poste Tunisienne, the Universal Postal Union (UPU), Swiss Post, the Pan African Postal Union (PAPU) and the European Commission. In addition, the conference welcomed high profile delegations from the America, France, Finland, Germany, India, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates, to mention only some.

The Postal Innovation initiative, which drew loud acclaim from all protagonists, was held on the occasion of ID WORLD Abu Dhabi 2010, the annual EMEA Summit on automatic identification and wireless technologies, under the patronage of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior H.H. Sheik Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and endorsed by the European Commission, the Emirates Identity Authority and Abu Dhabi Police. The event welcomed 415 delegates from 35 countries, including 51 CEOs, government ministers and senior dignitaries.
